Sausages are invented in Sumaria (300BC). The ingredients to make sausages are all kind of meet, lard, flour, ice water, salt and spices.
I think there's only shape of sausage, like a pipe. But in fact, there are so many shapes of sausage in the world. There are Scandinavia (red), Merguez (North Africa), Boerewors (South Africa), Lap Cheong (China), Sujuk (Turkey), Chalua (Vietnam), from Switzerland (Cervelat, Landjeger and Schublg), from Germany (Knackwurst, Backwurst, Thuringer and Braunschweiger), from France (Andouille, Chipolata, Morteau and Rosette de Lyon), from Italy (Salsiccia, Wine and Cheese and Italian Potato), from Austria (Kantwurst, Vienna and Kasekreinor), from England (New Market and Oxford).
Chalua Sausages are made from pig and potato starch. Rosette de Lyon Sausages are made from pig's foot. Atheria Sausages are made from rabbit.
From the business point of view, there is an opportunity. We can make a Sausage House, that sells many kind of sausages around the world. People can choose if they want to their sausages to be grilled or steamed or serve it as sausage steak.
